Anyway to modify steering weight using MDI/GSD GM programming?

Track mode just doesn’t provide enough steering heft for me. I know on VWs and some BMWs, people have been able to modify the steering weight by utilizing OEM diagnostic tools. Can this be done using GM’s tools?

No. You'd need a custom tune for the steering control module. As far as I know, nobody makes such a thing.

Thanks. Too bad. I guess I’m probably in the minority with finding the steering too light.

Is there other ways to increase steering weight outside of electronic settings for the steering rack? Would certain alignment specs have a significant impact on steering weight? Or, would it only have a negligible or no impact?

More Caster will add weight at speed, If your low there it might help I’m running 8*
