Need to replace the high dust brake pads on my grand sport. Non carbon fiber.
Can't decide between the Hawk pads or Powerstop Z26 pads. Anyone try both pads? I want equal stopping power as the Brembo's but withour the dust.

Both are good pads, but if you want equal stopping power to the Brembo Pads the clear winner are the Hawks.
Not that the Powerstop are bad pads…on the street you would never notice the loss of braking performance, but on a track you would. 60-0 stopping with the Powerstop you lose about 6 feet of braking performance. Not horrible, but a reduction.
1521, if they get wet you must pump them, it was a extremely scary the first time I used them in the rain, zero stopping power. Good on the street and held up well on the NCM track.
I still cant get over how well my Powerstops have performed given the price. Great and no dust for street driving. Kept the brembo's for autocross and track.
