for track work, I run Nitto Nt1 305/35ZR18's in the rear on a 2017 Stingray z51. I encountered some rubbing issues against the fender lip when hitting dips in the road (I drive the car to the track on those tires) which went way when I had coil overs installed and a track alignment done.
I am about to get 305s on a 20" rear, 11 inches wide, 79mm offset. Disappointed
to hear a rub issue.
Wondering if a wider rims (from 10" to 11") would change the offset?
Ha, I bought 11" wide rims and 305 tires and they rub like crazy......on 2019 Stingray base 73mm offset but they rub in the middle on the wheel well....anyone want brand new tires and rims???? Going to get my original wheels painted black and go back to stock tires.
bummer.
Turns out only the left rear rubs, and not too bad, hasn't even worn the sound deadening layer off. But sounds bad...ha, I think they will work just fine.
