I have a 2014 C7 Stingray with the stock A6 6L80 trans and the stock converter. Car is procharged making around 830 rwhp. Running a 27.8 diameter tire. The car is used for street driving/roll racing and roll racing events at the track. Car is never raced from a dig. I’m looking to improve my roll times at the track. I was wondering if changing the 2.56 rear gear to a 3.42 gear would help with that? Would a looser stall help? Not sure where to go next on the set up I already have. Any experience with this or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Knowing the speed during the roll, the distance to the finish line, along with the torque and HP curve of your engine, are the key factors to determine gear ratios. Otherwise, it becomes trial and error guesses.
^^^ I agree 100% But again OP I also have a 2014 that I have about every thing you can do to one. Blower & all forged motor with meth & all the LT4 pumps. I did the A6 kit from circle D with a 3200 stall from them also. Trans kit was 3500.00 by itself & also did the wavetrac from RPM with the 3:42 gears, & loves the way the car pulls now over the out rear set up.

Are you hitting the rev limiter in 6th gear before the end of the race? If not then you're not achieving the car's maximum speed and you might benefit from a gearing change.
Looking at top speed in each gear will help you decide.
Also consider traction. If your tires are at the traction limit now then changing gear ratio probably won't make you any faster during acceleration.
Going to a 3.42 is going to help you from the 60 roll be in a shorter gear. You probably could start from 2nd in an auto if you have a good tire on it. It will however need to shift from 4th to 5th on the big end most likely. In my 3.42 manual car at TX2K I always started in 3rd and finished at the verrrrrryyyyy top of 4th at 7000 and I ran 160-165 consistently.
When I switched to standing half mile I went the other way. From 3.42 to to 2.73 (z51 car) so I didn't have to shift out of 4th in a standing 1/2 mile. It would do 203 full tilt in 4th lol.... I actually bought that rear end from @robertmiller
