Default "Brakes Worn" Message On CCB GS

Is there a specific resistance for the brake pad wiring or is it just an open or closed circuit?

It is an open or closed circuit as far as the sensors go. However, if one of the four connectors that connect the sensor to the car harness on the cradles or the two connector pins on the EBCM has a high resistance due to corrosion/dirt the EBCM might sense it as an open circuit.
