Purchased used Z06 (2017) torque tube. Installed in 2015 Z51. No issues. Used a two post lift, high lift transmission jack, and two screw jacks. Followed the Repairprocedures.com service manual for the most part. Drooped the rear cradle and transmission together. Day one 7 hours removed and replaced. Day two 4 hours replaced and checked fluids. Drained oil, removed oil cooler lines. Had to bleed the brakes because you have to disconnect the rear brake lines. Not a terrible job, but I had a lot of help. 5 man crew. So far I have about 50 miles on the newly installed tube. No noise, no leaks. Reused all the Bolts and exhaust gaskets. Plans for new exhaust soon.
ok interesting thanks. basically causes noises and/or vibrations i assume at first then perhaps getting worse over time to the point of having due to extremes of that?
