I’ve been a Borla guy for several years C6. Just traded the 6 in for a 17 GS is any one familiar with AWE compared to Borla?

I would go Corsa over both of those, but that's my opinion...

Not familiar with the AWE but I will say that when I added headers to my 08 way back when ,it woke up the stock exhaust perfectly sound wise and I gained some real HP. I imagine it would be the same results with the c7.

I have AWE X-Pipe and touring edition on my 17 GS. I love the sound. Can't compare it to Borla though. Not sure what sound you're going for but the touring edition is not super loud.

Installed the Borla X Pipe 60547 on our 2016 Z51 in October 2016 & have been very pleased with the sound quality. Do not have data on the performance so it's only seat of the pants & very difficult to tell the difference. In any event, happy with the Borla X Pipe 60547. Since it's a Z51 the vehicle does have the NPP exhaust which I left stock.

I've had the Borla setup with headers on my Z51. Best sounding exhaust there is in my opinion. However, the only thing I didn't like was trying to line up the exhaust tips as it is a major pain with Borla. Corsa on the other hand makes it easy and you don't get sagging tips on one side due to their design. Corsa sounds good too, but I didn't like it as much as Borla. Same with AWE, I still prefer Borla.

That said, all three systems are quality and sound good.

I am definitely going with AWE. John at AWE has been absolutely awesome to work with. I am going with the "Track" edition". If it is too obnoxious they offer a touring conversion kit. Their prices are great and the videos of the track and touring sound amazing. Cant see going wrong with either version and you are not paying extra for the name.

I remember back in the day doing a Corsa on my C5. It was so loud at WOT. Loved it though it had sort of a bratttty kind of sound.

Fast foward two vettes later. I personally would keep my stock exhaust, but would add xpipe / down pipes with high flow cats. That lets me get a more agressive tone, more power than catback, louder WOT sound, but without losing my NPP.

oh, and cheaper too.

Our best sellers are Borla, Corsa, and AWE. If you liked the Borla go for it again, you won't be disappointed. We have them in stock.
