Default Engine lag

Hello, I have a 2019 C7 Z06 w/ 7,000 miles. In the past 2 months, the car has been hesitating/pushing back while cruising at 2500-3000 rpms. Almost feels like a "jake brake" or governor is being activated, but there's no codes or check engine lights activated.

I've never beat on the car and the only modifications I have completed was cat back and X-pipe. No tunes. Any recommendations or owners w/ same issue. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum !!…I’m assuming you have a scan tool if you said you have no DTC’s…if you can read some data PIDS and graph them while driving the car that may help you diagnosis this…too many things that can cause this hesitation …you need some data to diagnose this accurately!!

Cruising at 2500-3000 RPM? When I cruise I keep mine around 1500 RPM plus or minus. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what cruise means? Do you mean during acceleration at those RPMs? Regardless it's happening. Are you in Touring mode? I know the engine will cut power if you hammer it and it thinks you're going to lose rear traction. It's happened to me in my 2019 Grand Sport when I was really getting on it while entering an on ramp.
