first time owning a Corvette ever and live in Connecticut , planning on obviously storing the car for about 4 months, I understand the purpose of a trickle charger but never bought one, can someone recommend a decent unit ???
Search for Battery Protection Package. It is $100. You can find in the C7 for sale section or on eBay, etc.. You plug it into a lighter port on the rear right side of the trunk.

My c7 came with that option but must have been lost...it just plugs into the rear cigarette lighter and then an wall outlet?
$190 for the lack of ability to trickle charge any type of battery? From what I see, it does NOT do Lithium. I do have other batteries so it would help if I do Lithium. I went with Noco and it does do lithium.
yeah like the corvette charger as well, easy to plug in and it definitely works.
So does my Noco for a fraction of the cost and I can use it for my Powersports lithium batteries. What does it do that is so special besides having the crossed flags on the thing? Not sure reconditioning battery is a really useful thing. Maybe an extra year of life?

understood mine came with the car when i bought it, yeah not saying I would pay 80 bucks for it, if i needed one and could obtain the stock one for like 50 i would otherwise I would just buy something else. I also have another charger that can tender and fast charger I had prior to my vette. i figure if my car came with it originally its great that its still there and with the packaging and paper it came with, just adds to the completeness of things.
