For street driving and for most track days any of the C7 brake systems are just fine. Brakes have come a long way since the early C4 days with the single-piston caliper and 12-inch front brake rotor. The C7 CCM brakes work well on the street. They will last the lifetime of the car on the street. Track duty will shorten durability down to the same time periods as any aftermarket racing brake kit but the rotors and pads are so costly to replace that people usually purchase an aftermarket kit to avoid the very expensive rotor replacement costs.
