Strange grinding sound
Hi, I have a 2019 grand sport and recently it’s been making this strange grinding sound. Mostly I noticed it when the car is stopped. Sometimes it kicks in when the car is put into any gear but will still do it while in park.
It sounds the loudest from under the car. Any idea what may be causing this? It’s almost like a grinding sound. The attached video doesn’t pick it up as loud as it sounds in person, but you can still get a decent idea of the sound.
It doesn’t seem to impact performance at all.

So took it to the dealer and it was the torque tube. They replaced it under power train warranty and the drive home sounded back to normal. It’s now snowing so it’s put away but it sounds like this isn’t all the uncommon. I had 14,000 km on it.
