Hey yall, I want to get the Titan 7 T-S5 Wheels for my Z51 Stingray. I found a set of 4; fronts are 18x10.5 5x120.65 52mm and the rears are 19x11 5x120.65 79mm. The website I found them on are usung Toyo R888Rs but I dont need barely legal race tires (lol). I daily drive my car, so what tires would be better for daily driving but also have a similar look to the R888Rs? This is the look im trying to achieve. Thanks!
I just put the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's on my new rims and have no complaints at all. A little quieter than stock and they don't sling rocks all over the car. I think the Michelin and Continental Extreme Contact are probably your best choices for a daily driver. This is mine with the Michelin's on.
I just put on the continental extreme contact. Amazing results. Smoother ride. No more front tire chattering on tight turns. Very quiet. Full set $1600 installed.
The Continental Extreme Contact Sport have served me well. No more tramlining, Ackermann Effect, less rock throwing... but not run-flat. Abandoned the run-flats hoping to avoid cracked rims on the GS... prefer the side wall appearance of the Michelins though.
Are they run flat? I drive on the freeway quite often lol
No. But that's why they are so smooth. The stiff sidewalls of run flats will never match the ride smoothness of a non run flat. I have my cell phone with me. If I get a flat, I'll just make a call.
