Just wrapped up installing an A&A setup with a 3.8 pulley on my 2016 stingray. The only supporting mods that I have done are a Mighty Mouse catch can, catless x-pipe and a Lt4 pump. Now I am at the 600 mark and wondering what I should do next. Any Ideas? Also please post your setup/numbers.
So... you're at that mark where you have to make a fueling decision. You can:
A. Install meth injection and go to about 10 PSI of boost and around 700 wheel.
B. Install LT4 pump and injectors (of something better) & camshaft and get to about 8-10 psi and around 700 wheel
Then if you need more beyond that you have to make a piston decision. Anything over 10psi and 700 wheel you're going to need to build the short block. Then the sky is the limit based on $

I dont want to go the meth route because that jist seems like a bandaide to me. I already installed a lt4 pump. You are saying injectors and a cam swap is all I need for the next benchmark? No lifters etc.?

Yea when you do the cam they’ll do new lifters, pushrods, etc. Youll need a smaller pulley also assuming you want to up the boost.
Consider GM's "mods" to the Z engine. They don't do all they do to their blown engines for no reason. I've built blown engines for decades and always strongly recommend starting from scratch (crank, rods, pistons) if one is actually going to use the power. All the best.
I did a GPI SS2 cam with supporting mods, trunion upgrade, ATI harmonic balancer, headers, no cats, 3" corsa, ECS 1500(very similar to A&A), SBE, stock heads, stock intake. At 12lbs I put down over 700wheel in my SS. I imagine a cam might get you close to the 700 mark. And you can bump the boost too if you wanna go for more.
I don't know the limits of your engine so take this with a grain of salt.....
I put in a Circle D stall,, bmr and Detroit speed suspension, stock rear,, driveshaft and tranny(6 speed).
Runs 10s all day. It gets beat on all the time, then driven to racetrack and raced all day. Driven home like nothing happened lol. That damned Camaro is freaking bulletproof. All it gets is regular maintenance and it's never had a serious failure at all, ever! I've learned that the builder plays a huge part in smiles per mile.
Good luck with the build. It should be quite a handful when finished!
I spoke with my tuner for a little while this weekend. It is of his opinion that adding a d1x fueling sytem and lt4 injectors along with a set of headers for cooling will get me up to the 700 mark. He did ofcourse discuss doing a cam but for the money he says the above setup will get me there.
Im still open to thoughts because many minds are better!
I have a 2014 Z51 with headers, double helix X pipe, D1X @ 10#, LT4 injectors and HPFP, BTR Cam and a flex fuel kit. My first pull was 748 HP and 690 TQ. I daily drive tuned to 730/650. I have a 150 mile highway and city commute, and I'm currently at 120k miles, with no issues.
