Cat non-availabilty
FYI -
OEM C7 front cats are on indefinite national back order. There are none of them at all -zero- for either side in the entire Chevrolet delivery system. I've talked to all the major reputable aftermarket header and cat manufacturers, and none of them will have stock until at least after the first of the year. Fortunately, mine are not plugged and the car is drivable, although it is popping off 0420 and 0430s and occasionally stalling at lights.

I agree! Earth is awful. Order them from Mars or Jupiter, much faster delivery. F@(#* this place.
Joking aside, do you need the cats? Emissions? Maybe get a letter state the unavailability so you can bypass the emissions?
other option besides deleting them- look for used cats from a crashed car. Gota be out there somewhere.
Or how about a general purpose unit? Perhaps a high performance style? Could be temporary... or permanent...
