Default Touring Mode Display

i sometimes use Touring Mode so i can see all my Temps

it annoys me that the display is wasted with a shot of a C7

is there any way to change that to something useful?

See the four little arrows around the car? < > ^ and "down"? That means there are choices in each direction available by using the arrow keys and select button under your right thumb on the steering wheel.

Play around and see what your choices are.

I have the digital speedo shown there although I use the digital speedo in the HUD 95% of the time.

I assume this is a shot from an earlier C7. My 2018 doesn't look like this..

This display was on my 2014 as well as 2019 unchanged. It has been on every model year.

Right.

So.

As I said, I do not have a screen like that on my 2018.

Here 'ya go.

The right arrow does nothing useful on most screens.

The "status" screen simply does not exist for me.

I do not recall seeing anything in the settings screen that would allow configuration of the Tour mode displays -- just the pocket gauges for the Sport display.

Can you point me to where in my manual this hidden screen is?

It can't be added to the column to the right of the speedo or car image but if you use the down button you can reach an analog display that shows trans fluid temp. Most C7 owners probably don't understand the problem with some of the displays available since they aren't driving a Z06. On a Z06 the coolant temp gauge in the lower right-hand corner is converted to a boost gauge so the only display that provides a reading of engine coolant temp is the Tour display with the column on the right side of the center image/speedo/etc. That is the only place to display engine coolant temperature on the 2015/16/17 Z06s. In 2018 GM updated the track display so engine coolant temp could be displayed there and in either digital or analog format.

Relax, guy.

You're not reading what I'm writing.

I do not have a screen called "status"

Let me rewrite that: I do not have a screen called "status"

Did you get the part where I mentioned that I don't have a screen called "status" ? I've said it a few times now.

The original post shows a screen called status. I do not have that screen. That screen does not exist on my DIC.

As shown in the video where you shout to look at 13 sec onwards -- that is the Tour theme under the Performance menu. I cycle through all the screens there, none of them are "Status" and none of them have a car pictured in the middle.

In case reading is still too hard, I've made another video just for you.

So I ask you @RonC7 , where is this hidden "status" screen if it's, as you say, on every model from 2014 to 2019? I cannot find it on mine, nor does my owner's manual say anything about it.
