Why all of a sudden I get this popping up on the screen when i try to start the car? I have to remove the key, and insert the fob into the steering wheel column slot, and then will start....BOTH key fobs are doing this....pulled the fob battery, and it tested 2.95 volts......will a drop of .05 volts stop it from working?
yes, just had to put in a new battery in mine. the battery that came out read 2.9 volts and wouldnt work.
i put the older battery in my ford truck fob and it works fine still. lol
again another superior win for gm!
