C7 alarm issue
Hello.... new C7 Z51 owner from the UK hoping to tap into the owner knowledge database!
The alarm on my C7 randomly went off when parked in my garage this week. I tried to stop the alarm with the key fob but it would only stop when I started the car. I had been trickle-charging it for a couple of days but that may be nothing to do with it. Key fob battery is new.
The car is now unlocked in the garage to make sure the alarm doesn't go off again and annoy the neighbours in the middle of the night!
Any thoughts? Dare I ever lock it again?!!

There were some threads a while back on alarm issues. Not sure if this is an option for you, but some members went to the dealer and they were able to check what sensor set it off. A regular OBD2 reader wont do this.
A sensor was replaced and all good. In one case it was the rear defrost wires which are a part of the alarm system.
