Default 02 sensor cable connector melted

What is the female side wiring called/part #?
seems to have slipped past heat shield and melted on exhaust right where the header meets x pipe. 2016 stingray z51 performance exhaust with Borla atak. Discovered while investigating the infamous exhaust control valve actuator problem. Have her up on stands and most exhaust pulled out now. Advise and wisdom welcome please and thank you.
edit:
npp and afm it’s the automatic tranny

Did you melt both connector halves or just one? If one, is it on the sensor pigtail or the main harness?

Also keep in mind that on at least some years, the front and rear o2 connectors are different.

I’d just buy an O2 sensor extension harness and use the connectors off of that.

both. I’m going to have to replace the H02S which will come with the male end but wasn’t sure what all is connected to that female side of the harness and was looking for a greater understanding before I decided to repair or remove/replace. I know the rabbit hole can get deep fast. Still have some time to work while she’s laid up before things thaw out here in MN. Looking to do it once the right way. I appreciate your input, thank you.

The connectors/seals/pins are likely available through Mouser. Snip the old one off, remembering the order of the wires…and install the new one. Molex is usually the brand.

I don’t have the p/n handy and I’m traveling currently. However, I bet someone on here knows.

Ballenger Motorsports sells them albeit with quite the markup. They also sell just the connector bodies, pins, etc. They sell genuine Molex. There are others that sell knockoffs for about half the price.

Half the price is great. Twice the headache, not so much.
