I’ve seen many discussions regarding heat soak and the c7 zo6. Is this an issue at all with the Stingray Model? I have a 2017 A8 2LT stock Stingray. I also park in the garage when I’m back home and outside if I take it to work. Should I ever be worried about heat soak at all if never on the track?

Just open the hood when you park inside the garage.
When parked outside you have a certain amount of free air flow thru the engine compartment. When parked inside a garage there is little or no free air flow to help cool down the engine.
Also heat destroys plastic / rubber / wiring connectors components so its good to remove as much heat as possible after shutdown. Everything will last longer and not become brittle.
Heat soak on the Z06 is in reference to the supercharger. This doesn't exist on the Stingray. There is no reason to worry about heat soak or to pop your hood to help the car cool down if you park in a garage.
Even with the Z06 heat soak isn't that big of an issue on the track.
The Z06 has two issues while on track. One is too much air in the intercooler circuit which lets the charge air temperature for the two rear cylinders increase too much when compared to the charge air temperature for the other 6 cylinders. The rear two cylinders of the LT4 have higher combustion temps and the increase in intake air temp for those two cylinders can cause misfiring. Having little to no air in the intercooler circuit lets the bricks properly cool the intake air for those two cylinders.
The other is engine cooling for a supercharged engine. When the LT4 is run at high rpm, with lots of WOT or near WOT for minutes at a time the engine itself can overheat. This is seen as coolant temps approaching or exceeding 262 degrees or oil temps approaching or exceeding 300 degrees. Those temps will put the car into limp home mode. The M7s rarely overheat but the A8s often do overheat. The LT1 cars don't have any issues.
As for cooling down a Z06 after a track session I rarely open the hood except to check fluid levels and/or to make sure everything is OK. Then I close the hood.
