Clicking sound from front wheels
My 17 GS just developed a clicking sound from what sounds like the front end while driving at slow speeds. More pronounced when I apply the brakes. It sounds like there are stones stuck in the tires, which there aren't. I know there was a TSB a few years back basically stating that the wheels have to be removed and the back of the rims and the wheel hubs need to be cleaned. Most of these cases occurred when the wheels were at a full lock. Mine does it while driving straight. Local dealership told me I needed new rotors. I've never heard of rotors making a clicking noise.
I'm not paying them $1700 to do it. Anyone have any good recommendations on rotors? I don't track the car and I just installed the Powerstop Z26 pads. I'm perfectly fine with AC Delco if that's the best.

I bought my 17 GS vert in August 22 with +/-36k miles on it. While driving at idle speed (as when parking) wheels//brakes clicked at that time and mechanic who checked the car pre-purchase said this is a known characteristic of this model. He said is not a serious mechanical issue. He said he had a fix for it, but I did not pursue the opportunity. I'll need brakes/rotors in the not too distant future and will be interested to see/hear if the clicking disappears.
