Default Is my non-Z51 '14 missing something?

On my new-to-met '14 Stingray (non-Z51) I noticed the following empty mount points on the rear subframe and control arm. I looks like there should be an anti-roll bar there, and there doesn't appear to be any markings indicating there used to be one.

The car drives fine.

Did the base Stingray come without a rear roll bar? Are those mounts for a Z51 or aftermarket roll bar?

I bought a bar off of Ebay that had the end links with it then I bought the caps, nuts and rubber grommets from a dealer, I think I have a total of about 100 bucks into it and about 15 min. time to install.

Adding a rear stabilizer bar will loosen the rear of the car so it provides more oversteer. Stiffen the front to reduce oversteer and stiffen the rear to enhance oversteer. Or look at it this way Stiffen the front to create more understeer and stiffen the rear to reduce understeer. If you add a rear bar you may or may not like how the car drives afterward.

Cultrag (Forum vendor) sells a reasonably priced Z51 upgrade "kit" with all that's needed for the Stringray... front and rear. Many use it, as do I.

And, a hint/tip... check and top-off your differential fluid before adding a rear bar. Btw, many C7s came from the factory low on fluid according to the Manual, despite the supplier's claim they were all shipped fully filled.

I don't want the Z51's stiffer ride but it's good to know that the option exists, thanks!

My VIS shows the diff level was 'addressed' in 2014 but not what was done. No matter, that silver juice was replaced last weekend.
