You will probably receive many opinions. I put a JLT catch can on our 2016 Z51 & empty it once per year when changing oil. Typically it catches about 1/4 inch of fluid.
In addition, I did put AFE CAI on the vehicle. Not sophisticated enough to feel the difference. In any event, it has a nice window to inspect the air filter.
Tons of posts about catch cans, in the end do what you think makes sense. I installed an Elite catch can as I've run them before on other vehicles with success at removing oil from the intake. I drive my car occasionally and below is what had collected in the catch can after about ~400 miles. Not a ton, but I don't want any of it in my intake. And mine is a Z51, normally aspirated.
Are you planning any real mods? A CAI is not needed unless you do real mods like heads/cam/exhaust type things. And you sometimes need a tune to fix the A/F with a CAI.
I put an Elite catch can on my car and it will have 1/2 to 1 ounce of oil in it every 1-2k miles or so. When I put a ported intake manifold on my car the stock one had quite a bit of oil film on it. So my car seems to get a bit more oil in the intake system.

Honestly, neither are needed on a stock car.
my z06 is bone stock except for catless x pipe. installed a m/m catch can and after 3k miles I drained close to 4 ozs of oil and condensation out of the can. before this all that oil was vented back into the top of the blower oiling down the I/c bricks and rotors. I would say its a must have on a f/I car
Do an "Advanced search" for catch can across all series Vettes from at least C5s on up. There will be a gazillion threads with lots and lots of posts. The synopsis is they are equally loved and hated. Take your pick one way or the other and go on.

Given the issues some DI engines have with carbon deposits on the backside of valves, I prefer a catch can to take whatever oil vapor I can out of the intake tract.
I installed a Mighty Mouse catch can on my A&A boosted GS because I know what kind of havoc that oil vapor can have on a boosted motor. However, the supercharger draws it's breath through the stock airbox with the supercharger vendor's provided air filter. I didn't consider the dollar value proposition sufficient to replace the stock filter with a "high flow" one otherwise.
My investment in these "solutions" isn't exceeded by the dollars I put to them... so my decision are proffered here as what I felt was best for me.
Stock na car? Snake oil. Stock z06? Snake oil. The amount of oil ingestion isn’t enough to hurt the power unless you plan on 200k miles.
modded? Yes but don’t run on a race track with one unless you drain it every session
I would have to disagree not from a power perspective but from a maintenance perspective. The oil ingested into the blower coats the rotors and bakes a coating due to the high heat. The amount of oil in the top of the blower itself is astonishing compared to not having a catch can. In 3000 miles I drained 4ozs out of the can

I agree with you Bruno on a NA motor they are snake oil
and the statement you made above is the reason why Dave from Mighty Mouse would not recommend a Wild setup when I put my Procharger on , instead of a vent with a filter I have a hose that dumps any oil away from my tires
Even with my setup , I have not had much oil collected
My understanding is snake oil unless there is forced injection. then they can be beneficial.
If you would rather not burn oil, then you are in the market.
Many here also accessorize the engine bay, so would be in the market.
