Yeah, There are a lot of problems with those 8 speeds.. there's even a class-action lawsuit against GM for all the 8 speed tranny problems... There are several GM technical service bulletins out about tranny issues, for dealers to try certain things to fix it.. There's some about the dealer re-programming the TCM/tranny control module with some new GM TCM programming updates regarding that shudder... There are also some programming updates for other things like tranny slipping, clunking, etc.. Another one is for dealers to drain all the tranny fluid out and replace with new, different tranny fluid...
Took my then new 2017 Z06 to the dealer for the shudder. On the test drive as soon as it was placed in manual mode the shudder went away only to return as soon as it was placed back in drive. They did the triple flush only for it to return in 2 years later.
Took it back to the dealer which was a mistake because sitting on the show room floor was a brand new 2019 ZR1.

Your clutches in the converter may be worn out.
Maybe they didn't use Blue label Mobil 1 ATF.
I'd have it triple flushed again with Mobil 1 Blue label.
