Default TPMS wireless control module

Both my right front and left rear TPMS displays dashed out at the same time. Its possible both sensors failed at the same time both not likely. Got the TPMS system orange tire message. Could it be a channel of the wireless controll module failed? Is there a way to troubleshoot/reset without taking to the dealer? Ive driven enough for the TPMS’s to reset, no luck. Thanks for any suggestions

A good tire shop can check your sensors. I had trouble with mine this year, turned out to be in the connector under the carpet at the firewall on the passenger side. disengaged & re engaged it a few times problem went away

If they were produced about the same time and have been in service for the same interval, then yes. Very likely. HDD's also tend to fail around the same time within the same service intervals.

The Remote Door Lock Receiver processes the signals from the TPMS. Since you still have two pressure indications I suspect the problem may be low battery voltage in the two sensors that have dashes. The batteries in the sensors only last 7 to 10 years from the time the sensor is manufactured so it could be likely that two sensors built around the same date may fail at close to the same time.

If you want to check things swap wheels from left to right side and see if the faults (--) follow the wheel locations.
