Hello, I’m new to the corvette forum and decided to finally make an account, sadly it was after my C7 - 2018 Grand Sport (manual) was stolen in May of 2023.
so I’m currently searching for a C7 - z06 (manual)
I’ve located one recently that I like based on price but the only issue I’m having is the previous owner has installed this hideous engine cover and my father always told me to keep vehicles stock growing up and now that I’m older I feel the same. LOL

wanted to provide you with some photos and see what it would cost to revert it back to a stock engine cover and the washer fluid cap, etc.
basically would want for the engine to look just like the stock photo provided.

(I’m also really bad at adding and removing car parts, I’m not a handy man and don’t pretend to be, shoutout to all of the auto techs! I only know how to change oil, tires, and batteries)

All of those should remove easily with probably most if not all the original stuff undamaged underneath. A lot of that stuff uses high tack 3M tape. I'm sure someone who knows the brand or supplier of those will chime in with knowledge. I'd be very careful removing them so you can sell them on the forum. There are more than probably a few that think it's far from hideous and would have them on their car.
I agree, those are covers, not replacement parts and the stock pieces should be underneath. What year is this C7? I actually replaced the SC lid and injector covers on my 2019 and have the originals if you need them but they will only fit 2017-2019 without additional modifications.
I have a 2017 tall lid for sale (oem) if you decide you want one. ads a bit of better cooling of the intercooler bricks. and looks nicer than the low lids on the 15-16 cars
