I would ask what made them want to tell you "the oil pump isn't working good you should replace it" and relay the specific details here.
Chances are they are looking at the variable oil pressure and freaking out. Otherwise if it's got very low oil pressure and they diagnosed it as the oil pump itself, run the **** away.
