Just bought my first corvette a few months ago. 2015 2LT. So don’t really know a lot about them. But always wanted one so I pulled the trigger. This has happened multiple times. Stabitrax light would come up and I would get these codes. Took to dealership and they had it for 3 days and said they couldn’t replicate the problem even though when I dropped it off it was happening. They said it’s losing connection somewhere. They changed the battery and it happened again today when leaving work. Put it in drive and it gave me a hard shift and then the light came on. I was able to push the gas to go either. Called dealership and they just said reset it. Can anyone help?
I mis read your post. I didn't see they put a new battery in. When they did check to make sure the little black wire got hooked up properly to your negative cable. If it's not hooked up properly it can cause issues
P700 code is a generic code , the TCM module is requesting the CEL to be lit , you need to take it to dealer or competent shop that has the tools like GDS2 that can read codes down to the module level . There could be a TCM problem that is causing your loss of communication
The stabiltrac light is a result of the code and not the cause The ECM shuts down traction control and the other nannies when it senses a major fault , I am surprised you did not get reduced power code . This is NOT a battery problem ..
