Cylinder #8 Misfires
Yesterday the check engine light came on my 16 corvette had it checked out and the code was cylinder #8 misfired 256 times, not sure if it is a coil, spark plug or plug wire has anyone else had this issue?

Without some specialized diagnostic equipment you’ll have to swap the coil pack, plug, and wire one at a time to another cylinder and see if the misfire follows to that other cylinder..I’m sure many Corvette owners have had misfires so your condition isn’t unique…if not a secondary ignition issue you’ll have to look at fuel or mechanical.

Wires have a habit of popping off , remove the wire from both ends, put a little bit of Dielectric grease inside the boot and push it back on .
If that does not work ..
A plug and wire are cheap , just buy new and see if that solves your issue
If that does not work ... swap the coil with another cylinder and see if the miss follows the coil ...
If that does not work ....
I don't think you have the tools to go any further so I would take it to a shop .
If the CEL is blinking ... dont drive it , have it towed
