Default A/8 Transmission Flush

Are certain years of C7's exempt from the flush. I'm looking at a 2019. I think I read somewhere that GM changed the fluid in later year cars. I'm trying to find out just when this car was built.

2019 should have the new fluid in it already

I have 19 Grand Sport and I had to have the transmission flush done at 12,000 miles to fix the torque converter issue.

I was told by my local dealer that the early 2019 models built before February 2019 had the old fluid. It wasn't until at the end of February and beginning of March 2019 that GM switched to the new fluid on all the 2019 models so look on your drivers door build sticker and should give you the month and year that yours was built.

You need to read the trans ID label to determine when the trans was actually assembled. If after Feb 2019 then you have new blue label Mobil 1 fluid.

Its not when the car was assembled but when the trans was built.
