When I switch my 2017 Z06 to Tour driving mode, the car feels WAY faster than Sport or Track. Is it simply because Touring mode transfers the weight better therefore giving me better traction?
Changing between modes doesn't change the engine output so the car wouldn't be going any faster. If anything it'd feel slightly sluggish due to softer throttle response in touring. Weight transfer would allow the car to gain better traction at lower speeds so if you're spinning less than yes it would feel faster. Otherwise just some placebo you're experience unless you have timed proof.
No.. There is no reason it should feel faster in Tour.. Never even heard of this before.
The softer front rebound and softer rear compression will allow you to launch harder. The weight transfer will put more weight on the rear tires giving you better traction.
This is only applicable to drag racing. Cornering you will be faster in sport and race modes to limit the amount of body roll you get.

Any thoughts?
You will build more boost faster in a close exhaust system such as tour than in a open exhaust system as in sport or track. You need to slow the exhaust gases down enough to let your supercharger build boost & thats how to make power.

Boost is a byproduct of restriction .... i guarentee you are not making more power by restricting your exhaust ...
I added headers and dropped my boost 2 pounds , but I can assure you I am making way more power than when I was at 7 to 8 pounds
