I have an unmodified 2014 Stingray (non-Z51, but WITH GM performance exhaust) ive owned since new and I've removed the NPP fuse for a little more sound, I find the stock sound at high-rpms is excellent so I dont really want to change much there, but find things a little too muted low down in rev range / easy cruising. Ive made the fatal error of getting behind the wheel of a few Italians in the past year (488, Roma, and Granturismo) and particularly love how those exhausts in sport / track come alive and produce those nice low bellowing notes without much effort on the pedal at all (the kind of baratone that echos nicely back off a concrete wall but isnt onoxious). Was wondering if anyone has replicated that on a Vette? Those cars have obvious valve systems as well, as in comfort modes they stay totally muted down. In theory the vette with the NPP fuse pulled should be totally open(?). Could it be the secondary cats on the X pipe?
Does pulling the npp fuse make it equivalent to track mode? I would assume pulling the fuse would keep them closed?
I never had a different system before I did the work but I would go with the Borla Atak. Heard one on a stock car and sounded good. Being the right loudness is something subjective and might be tough to dial in. You could post in your region and see if anyone has a car with exhaust in your area before you pull the trigger.

Track isn't always open, but pretty close to it. Pulling the fuse permanently opens the valves, which is how the mild2wild system works. It breaks that circuit using a remote fob.
