I am probably going to get flamed. I recently got done with some upgrades and I am contemplating on installing a hyrdo handbrake setup for drifting or fun. I see a base plate online for the c7 to mount a handbrake to. I dont see any brackets/caliper setups for the rear. Does anyone know if anyone makes a turnkey setup? I can't imagine using the stock rear system and plumbing in a handbrake. I think that would make the computer go bananas but I could be wrong. If someone has a setup and would like to share, I would appreciate it.

You could disconnect the parking brake cables and let the system display a warning on the DIC. The warning doesn't change how the car drives and you can shut if off using the steering wheel controls so it shouldn't bother you while drifting.
My parking brake cable separated at the point where it was spliced into another cable which meant the parking brake couldn't be set. All I got was the DIC warning and a nonworking parking brake. The dealership had to reconnect the cable and recalibrate the parking brake tensioning module to resolve the issue.
Disconnect the current parking brake cabling from the electronic modules that set and adjust it then install the parking brake lever you need and splice it into the OEM cabling or remove the OEM cabling and attach the new cables to the parking brakes directly.
