Default Memory seat "set" button

My 3LT C7 "set" button has become inop. The previous stored settings as well as the entry/exit feature are working. However trying to change the settings, hitting the 'set' button then #1 or #2 the previous settings recalled as opposed to the new settings requested.
Suggestions? Thoughts? Feedback?

Electronic contact cleaner on the switch contacts should help. CRC makes a good one, but there are many brands available at your local big box, discount, hardware, or auto parts store.

Thank you. Requiring removal of the door panel for a maybe fix, I may think on that.

I thought I had this problem too. Then I realized that I was not selecting the 1 or 2 button fast enough. The directions say push the set button then the 1 or 2. What they left out was immediately push the 1 or 2. In other words, put 1 finger on set and the other on the 1 or 2 as fast as you can.
