I put a Soler TC on my GS several years ago; you will love it. I was skeptical at first - why not just stomp on the gas a little more. I'll have to say that it really woke the car up and makes it feel like a rocket now. Go for it!!!

I wouldn't worry about it. Many on the Forum have them and I've never heard of anyone having a warranty issue. You can remove it easily if you're concerned.
I tried it in comfort 1 and 2, it was pretty close to linear without dips. However it caused some odd behavior with HPTuners, since the throttle signals were not what it expected. It was removed, and the tuner ended up adjusting for driver demand. I'd like to try their ported throttle body, since the "lip" inside the bore is what creates the delay/sluggishness at lower throttle percentages.
We run the throttle controller in our race car. You wont make any more power and the car wont be faster with just a throttle controller, however a huge benefit is more adjustability. We can turn down throttle sensitivity for rain races or tracks that were having trouble finding grip at. Or on good days with loads of grip we can turn it up to get a quicker response out of the pedal. More adjustability in a simple controller like this that we have mounted on our console is never a bad thing!
One other unique feature of the Soler TC is you can lock the throttle completely via the app - which would stop an unauthorized drive should someone be able to start the vehicle.
Is anyone aware of conflicts between Diablosport i3 tuner and the Soler throttle controller? I removed the controller when I installed the tune to avoid any issues. I tuned out the off idle lag but would like to have the ability to lock my throttle. I think it's a great backup for the OEM security system.

Have you tried using the Diablo to adjust throttle sensitivity?
I upped the throttle by 15% with the i3 tune. I no longer have the lag. I've read that one or two members have had issues with the Soler / i3 tune combo. I would like to reinstall the Solar unit to take advantage of the ability to lock the throttle. So, before I go through the process of reinstalling the throttle controller, I wanted to find out if conflicts were common or just an occasional issue.

So what problem does the Soler TB solve if you can go as far 30% before slippage?
Well, I went ahead and installed the Soler throttle controller today. I have to say, this Vette rips! I used the i3 tune, advanced the throttle 15% and went with Sport 6 on the controller. It isn't any faster but it sure is alot quicker off the line! Plus I can now lock the accelerator from my phone. Times being what they are, not a bad thing to have.
