Default New YSI build

Hey everyone, I currently own a 2016 z51. I was wondering what power I can expect to make with the following mods (which are getting installed this weekend and next week)

stock A8
diamond pistons & rods (already installed)
Johnson lifters (already installed)
BTR stage 2 blower cam (already installed)
tsp headers, catless x pipe (already installed)
corsa axleback (already installed)
LT4 head gasket, arp head bolts

new -
YSI blower from A&A, billet internal upgrade, 10 rib upgrade, big bubba BOV
(3.47 upper 8.5 lower)
alky control dual nozzle meth kit
LT4 injectors and HPFP
DSX low side

mid 800’s or so? Anyone running similar setups?

winter here in Washington state so not going to be able to use much of the power for a while anyways, but at least it will be ready for the warm weather.

I would think you should be in the 800whp mark somewhere around that area. I am actually finishing up the build on my 16 z51 now with a V3TI head unit and shooting for 800whp myself with an E blend.

Yeah so I’m in Tacoma area, there’s a shop called Turbo Technology - The tuner there does work in his huge private garage on his own property. He has a dyno in his garage. If you need work done him and his team have done literally 1,000+ corvettes and camaros, he specializes in LS and coyote platforms. If you are local to here and need work done I can provide more info !

thank you! I live north of you in Everett. Last summer I saw a newer lime green Camaro with a turbo technology sticker cruising around. It was chopping HARD!
nice to hear you have had a positive experience with them so far. Doesn’t seem to be very many tuners or shops up this way and even the ones that have a good reputation, I hear occasional bad stories about.

man I’ve been freezing. Originally from CA so once it drops below 50 outside my body starts shutting down.
my car is stock other than lowered on factory bolts
Planning on doing long tubes and a tune now, and then later on a cam.

that’s a very similar build to mine. Only difference is I have a d1x and run E50. On pump and meth I have a conservative tune and make about 650whp. But I know you can get up to about 750whp with spraying more meth. Just depends on how much meth you’re willing to spray. And when I asked about this about 2 years ago a lot a forum members were saying stay away from relying on meth for the power. It’s just preference though.

I want to order my long tubes but as soon as I step in the garage right now it’s so cold I can’t even imagine working on a car right now!

Mine is very similar, but no alky injection. On A&A's Dyno it made 735hp at the back tires. Adding meth, 800 is possible.....

nice numbers! When the weather gets better I’d like to check it out in person. Where’s Kaiser Motorsport? Do you just use them for dyno readings and turbo tech for tuning?

yeah that would be cool man. He’s in Graham WA. I’m in Tacoma/Lakewood area. Him and his guy do all types of LS/LT/coyote builds. They did the build and he tuned hit in his shop. They do great work at a decent rate.
