AEM X-series Boost Gauge issues
Greetings,
I am installing an AEM wideband and boost gauge in my 2014, and I have the wideband wired up to Fuse 41 in the front fuse box with an add-a-circuit (It's the NPP fuse on my car). Works like a charm.
However, I'm trying to find another fuse for the Boost gauge and am having issues finding another "ignition on" 12V fuse in the front fuse box. On the circuits I've gotten it to work (fuse 43, reverse lockout) the boost gauges steady-state is blank, but will flash an "8" if I press either the Warn or Peak button. Fuse 43 wouldn't work for the long haul because it stayed on even with the ignition off and the boost gauge got really hot.
Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.
