Just bought a 2015 Stingray LT2 with ZF1 appearance package for my wife, want to make sure she can drive in rain without issues and am considering CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS tires. Had these on my Hellcat and they worked fine, anyone have experience running these on a C7 or have better wet weather recommendations?
Just do it. My wife's 15 mustang GT is on it's second set. Mustang was a daily driver in Va including 3-4 inches of snow until she retired 2 yrs ago. My 19 Stingray is still on it's first set.

Pretty sure the tires were Continental of one of the cars I tested since they mentioned that it was replaced with that for some reason. Didn't end up buying it but I did take the wife for a spin to see how comfortable she would be in that car. I think you need to exercise good judgement when it rains and the traction control helps. The Corvette can handle the rain and be driven in the rain. Usually, the problem is the owner that cannot handle the car being in the rain.
I had those on my 16 Cadillac ATS-V - I drove 4000 miles in 4 days (don't ask - SNAFU by my employer) which included 3 freaking road closures because of snow storms.
They are fantastic all season tires - while you do lose some dry grip, the confidence in inclement weather is astounding.
Put Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 ZPs on mine and love them. Transformed the car from the Summer Only tires. She may appreciate the ride better with either AS set up over the Summer Only. They really cut down on the skipping at low speed turns (out of the garage).
