Default Billy Boat X-Pipe w/ Cats

Does anyone know if the X-Pipe w/ Cats that Billy Boat sells has high flow cats? I couldn't find any information about the type of cats they use for their X-Pipe. Thanks.

Heres the link to the X-Pipe:

WOW , you really have no clue do you ...

1- This X pipe is specifically for use with Billy Boat Headers and gives you the option to buy it with cats or without cats
2- Because it uses the factory style mounting and dimensions it will fit other type of headers systems like ARH and some chinese brands giving the buyer the option of adding cats to his or her NON catted installation . It's a true 3 inch ID pipe all the way back to the tail pipe connector
3- It's 3 times the price of a Chinese X pipe because is DOES have Cats and its made right here in the USA , using the best 316 stainless steel ( not 304 ) thats on the market , have you priced a x pipe made with 316 stainless WITH cats lately, not the cheaper 304 Chinese junk , Look up what a catted version of a ARH , Kooks or AFE mid pipe costs
4- The reason why IT DOES have cats is for those of us who might have installed headers or are planning on installing them and don't want the exhaust smell that goes along with not running cats .
5 - While someone could , the catted version is not meant to replace the stock X pipe to gain more sound like the catless versions everybody is using . But it is avalable without cats if one wanted a catless x pipe for that purpose

I hope this answers all your questions .

Now let's stop hijacking threads and stick to the question the OP asked which was......

Are the cats HI FLOW /Green Cats , since it does not list the specs on the cats is why I suggested the OP to call the manufacturer because they are located in NC and are a great company

Try and email or call them. I purchased his C7 intake system as I wanted to remove the blasted baffles on the stock intake tube. Pricey yes. But the quality and workmanship is top notch. And it hooked up to my GM Performance Airbox without issues.

Billy Boat is top notch and great customer service. This is reflected in his products.

This is a picture of my mid pipe with HIGH flow cats , when you have headers it's the only place that you can install cats , it comes with a plus ... it moves that giant hot as hell cat from being right next to the starter and the frame and puts them down in the the tunnel , most people think that adding headers will increase under the hood heat , I have found that not to be the case , because of where they are the heat transfer into the tunnel is minimal

Do you know anything about X pipes without cats and a stock manifold? Smell, sound etc. I want a little more sound from my NPP exhaust but don’t want headers.

You can spend close to $1000 on an X pipe or $260. I installed the EOS X-pipe without secondary cats and love it. I think it increases the sound but it isn't obnoxious. It is a good quality X-pipe.

x pipe sounds good , you will smell just a bit of raw gas smell on startup if u are in an enclosed space like a garage ( with door open lol) but after the main cats heat up you will detect no difference

Pup cats were put on later C6's and all C7 to eliminate the emissions on startup, which is richer that when car warms up
