Default JBA Header Flanges?

I ordered a pair of JBA headers that came up cheap and when they arrived the flanges have round protrusions on them rather than the entire surface be flat like every other C7 header I see. They seem flat when I lay a straight edge to them and included very gooey gaskets but I still question why they did this when every other header flange is perfectly flat? I really don't want to deal with leaks causing o2 sensor issues.

Yeah that's not going to work. This is why you pay for quality parts. You could TRY using a graphite gasket that will mold a bit to the shape but I wouldn't even attempt that. A machine shop should be able to flatten the surface properly but seeing that, I would be afraid they wouldn't even fit properly.

Do not buy junk parts. There is a reason why ARH, Kooks, LG and TSP headers are priced the way they are.

Makes me wonder if those aren't some sort of knock off, or counterfeit...I have always known JBA to make quality headers/exhaust.

Headers looking to give you air leaks and fits. I wouldn't put them on.
