Default Engine Light

I've had my car in the garage for a few months and started it periodically with no issues, I also keep it on a trickle. Took it out today and the engine light came on, took it to 2 AutoZone's to check for a code and neither were able to complete the diagnostics
Any ideas why its not letting the OBD readers complete a scan?

Possibly no power at the OBD port. Rodent damage?

Get it to a dealer and have the techs diagnose what’s going on.

Often a cigarette lighter not working might be an indicator of a burned fuse which kills the 12V power to the OBD2 Port.

Good to know that the C7 is not similar. What is the fuse that powers the obd2 port power?

Fuse 29 (10 Amp Fuse) in the 2016 schematics. Located in the underhood electrical center.

As always, spot on info from Bill. Got me to looking at that circuit and it appears dedicated to the DLC, nothing else. Feel free to correct me if I missed something.
