Default Corvette Overheat/ Electrical problem

My 2015 Stingray Corvette after a day of my driving it semi hard the dash started flashing lights & then “stabilitrak” and the battery Icon appeared on the dash and the car slowly started to slow down. When I stopped the left and tailight and headlight was out and then the car shut off… it wouldn’t crank. Everytime I would try to start it I just heard a tick and the gauges trying to turn on but they wouldn’t… after 15 minutes of me charging it with cables everything turned on and I was able to make it home. The next day I crunk it up and let it run for 15 minutes and the check engine light came on also the car overheated… any knowledge??

Find someone with a scan tool or take the car to your local auto parts store and see what code or codes are set…that may lead to a diagnosis…what part of Florida are you located ??

I took it to Chevy and they told me there so many low voltage codes that could be the reason the car can be misleading itself

Get your battery checked and perform a voltage drop check on your charging system …you can find how to do it on YouTube.

Don’t let a dealership diagnose the car…they are generally clueless!!

The dealership will charge you an hourly diagnostic fee and hopefully they find something…unless your concern is intermittent they should be able to diagnose it but don’t hold your breath…find yourself an auto electric shop in your area.
