I'm actually writing this for my boss, since hes quite old and isn't familiar with technology. He's been telling me that his 2015 c7 vette has a clunk noise when turned off. I've done some research on my own it seems like the torque tube. From what I've been told aswell, the noise appeared one day, however doesn't affect his driving, nor the car's performance. He dailies it and has so far put on around 118k miles. He's taken it to the dealer and they didn't know what it was. (turn your volume up before watching the video) All help and suggestions appreciated, thanks!
Usually a TT sounds like it's coming from under the car near the engine or a bit aft towards the where the shifter is.
The noise in the video sounds somewhat like the exhaust rattling around at shutoff.
If it does it consistently (ie repeatable), any halfway competent shop should be able to put it on a lift and have someone listen from under the car while another person in the car replicates it.
