Engine/exhaust sound suddenly lower, sluggish
2014 C7 convertible, about 117,000 miles
I was just driving to work, and while driving, the pitch of the exhaust/engine sound suddenly drops very low and it feels sluggish, kind of like the feeling when you are in too high of a gear for the speed. It still automatically shifts and I have resorted to using manual mode. There is no check engine light.
Anyone have an idea as to what's going on?

Now there is a CEL. Got my OBD reader:
