Default Issues After Battery change

Put new battery in yesterday. Dash screen won't change Modes stays in Sport mode I believe. Tried disconnecting neg battery terminal couple times but still same.

The positive side cables are really tricky to reconnect properly. Just a guess that completely reconnecting the battery might be needed and not just the negative.

Check that the DIC displays are set to LINK TO DRIVE MODE if you want them to change with mode. Otherwise set to your favorite TOUR, SPORT, or TRACK.

Use the right thumb buttons on the steering wheel and mostly menus on the left.

You will also need to reindex your windows. Rarely radio presets and seat memory will also need to be reset after a battery change - seems to depend on how long voltage was not present.
