C7 Gear Selection Indicator
I own a 2014 C7 Z51 with just over 16,500 miles on it and recently my check engine light came on simultaneously with my gear selector indicator light on my HUD as well as on my dash display which also prevents “rev match”, rear camera, and back-up lights from functioning. I’ve seen older posts regarding this issue but I’m curious if anyone has experienced this and if there are proven solutions that don’t involve pulling the transmission and/or if GM is making good on repairs. Thanks

You have a CEL, what is the code/codes that are causing the CEL? There could be many things happening to cause the issues you are having but you need the codes to figure out where to look. An OBD2 scanner will let you look at the emissions-related codes that cause the CEL to light but a scanner like the GM MDI2 or its equivalent will let you see all of the codes that exist.
