Default E85 ready C7

My 2014 z51 stingray has a few mods. Headers , exhaust, V3-si supercharger and intercooler by a+a corvette. 510 whp on dyno. I'd like to see 600. Will adding a sensor and enabling the E85 map and changing from a standard 4 in. pulley to a 3 in.get me close. I'm pretty sure I'd need a custom tune also. Opinions welcome to anyone with info.

Its funny, my tuner told me on a stingray you can't do E85.. You can but you need to do a lot of stuff to make it happen. Yet, I see Camaro's and C7's doing it.. I'd love to know what I'm missing.. Why can't I do it?

Default E85

A long term customer of my tuner told me he ran E85 on his Camaro and the C7 could too , by simply installing a sensor and activating the E85 map already on the ecu. Does anyone know if this is true. If it is why would anyone install the alky kits?

it can be done but ethanol requires a 1/3 more fuel than pump 93 so you need more fueling. bone stock c7 has been able to run corn but once you start modding you run out of fuel quickly

I'm doing it now and run almost nothing but E85. True, level in the tanks drops much quicker but the horsepower to the wheels increase just makes the ride that much more fun. Dyno tune showed 16% increase in HP.

You will need more fuel. At minimum, you'll need the LT4 HPFP and fuel injectors. You'll likely need a low side booster pump like DSX, too.

So the short answer is yes you can run E85. The long answer is it's going to cost you a lot of money to upgrade your fuel system to be able to run it. Especially, since you have a stock cam.
