ii ran into a similar problem long ago that a plug was black compression test was good but found the exhaust was not opening all the way causing incomplete combustion cam shaft lobe was worn since the cylinder was sealed the compression test would be good just my experience
Yep that's the first thing I was thinking but OP said they measured ... plus it's pretty hard to wipe a lobe out that bad with a roller cam. Back in the flat tappet days it could happen in a mater of seconds
@96GS#007 What is this log telling us ... is there detail behind in the history ?
Can u see live data on the misfire count ?
With GDS2 i know i can see live stream data on misfire count along with RPM , speed, and all the other PIDS ... i have only used it as a "View" that i had someone watching but I am almost positive i can record it and play it back like a log file from HPT .
I never have dived into the scanning function of HPT because I have GDS2 for diagnostics and programing of modules
Always open to learning something new

Those are some of the available scan parameters in HP Tuners. If you select those parameters you can watch the misfires real time while you also record it. History as it implies it what was going on during prior drives. As you can see, it's pretty comprehensive.
Really the only thing HP Tuners can't do with the PCM these days is connect to TDS and program it back to stock and you can't exercise functions real time such as turning on purge, etc. As far as data....it records everything the PCM wants to dump out and you can create your own math channels for even more custom parameters.
