Steering Rack problems
Hello, Question Is there any way to reprogram a 2015 used steering rack to my Vette from a donor Vette? Gm says no it is vin specific to the donor only. Has anyone figured away around this? Thank you, hopeful

Looks like you can program it
1- the replacement rack has to be from same year ( or matching part number)
2- you need access to a laptop and a GM MDI device ( or knock off MDI)
3- you need access to GM's TIS web site ( you can purchase a 2 day license)

Dave, First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to explain the problem.
I think the best avenue is new GM. It is a bite in the posterior but this way my dealer can program.
In the long run it's just one less thing. Thanks again Dave Ron
