The wiring diagram on my wrecked corvette Im working on, shows 3 wires (Lt-gn, bk-bn, BN-RD) to the ac pressure sensor near the right front frame rail. My connector to the sensor is missing, and I can only find 2 of the wires which were probably run over, pulled out intentionally or cut. I cant find the Brown-red, which is the 5v reference from the ecm according to the schematic i have. The pin number is 21 on X1. and I think 2700 is the circuit number. I dont have the full manual , just a schematic i found on this forum. The two wires found seem to come FROM the DRIVER side harness and cross the front of the car, but the brn red wire is elusive. Before I slice up all the covering on the intact remaining harness, does anyone know THE ROUTE this wire takes to the pressure sensor from the ecm? I hate to remove the fender again, and try and figure out a wiring harness pin locations. Im red/green color blind, which means that wiring harness' are my arch enemy! I appreciate the help!
Connector X102 is the connector…#3 in left side view, #4 in front view, and #9 in left view….u can get a subscription to ALLDATA DIY for 19.99 a month !!…sorry but it doesn’t show the complete routing !!
C5 Diag..this is perfect. It looks like i just need to keep digging into that broken covering where the other two wires came from. I was thinking that because the 5v ref was from the ecm which is closer to the sensor, it would likely be in the RIGHT side harnes...but, it looks like you saved me from cutting that covering off! Thank you!
Even on my C6 the AC Pressure Sensor wiring goes over to the left side of the engine…Alldata is a bargain if you only need info for your car every so often…you can get a 1 month, 1 year, or 3 year sub…good luck !!…having a short/open finder would make your search much easier !!
Thanks again. I found the wire. From that connector, I could see that it went forward into the fat harness that wraps around the front of the car...I split the cable case on the left, near the headlight and there it was and only about 8 inches left. All data does seem to be a good bargain for those who are modifying or working on cars. I thought you needed to be a dealer to get access to wiring data..thanks aGain!
GREAT !!….Alldata has the best wiring diagrams…OE which you posted and color “redrawn”…if you highlight a wire that whole circuit will be highlighted !!
