added comparison 928/C7
Just noted a torque tube issue 928's had and I thought I'd add another comparison. Our 928 had the "Only rich guys need apply" ALL leather interior (some ~ $4 k in 1986 dollars !!!) with a leather headliner, dash , door panels...etc.) and REAL leather, not pressed cow entrails. GUESS what? The dashes cracked and failed. Ours had a "plastic" replacement dash and the console was so-so. So apparently GM thought it would be cool to be just like Porsche....
